This studio was built outside the male gaze, and very intentionally so.
Boudoir created through the female gaze centers on how it feels to be in your body from a woman’s perspective.
Here, posing is guided, not forced. Confidence isn’t expected or performed. Expression, form, and individuality matter more than provocation.When women are photographed from the female gaze, the images reflect presence, nuance, and their individuality, rather than expectation.
This is boudoir for women who value depth, expression, and who want to feel seen rather than looked at.

I am Rosa—a professional boudoir and portrait photographer for women in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a proud Latina immigrant who loves taking care of others.
Guiding women into seeing a different version of themselves is my passion. I absolutely love it.
My mission is to represent women of every color, shape & size. By inviting them to lean into an experience that’s all about them, in a space where they are fully accepted. A safe space to break away from everyday life, to create stunning photos of themselves.

Most women walk in nervous. That’s expected. You won’t be left figuring it out.
HOW IT WORKS
before
We’ll pick a date. You’ll choose a package and pay a $500 non-refundable or 50% retainer. Payment plans are available if you’d prefer that option. You’ll also receive tips on how to prepare for your shoot.
during
You’ll meet with your Make Up Artist. Play music in the background to help ease the jitters. After makeup is done, Rosa will gently guide you through poses + be your biggest hype woman.

When finished with shooting, you’ll pick your photos. Your beautifully retouched photos will be delivered 2 weeks after your shoot. Physical products will be delivered within 4-6 weeks.

Not all. Boudoir is not about being fully nude at all. Instead, boudoir is what you feel as intimate or expresses YOUR feminine sensuality.
The amount of skin you show is 100% up to you. It’s not required. It’s never forced nor pushed. If it’s something you are considering trying, you can feel it out and decide on the day of your photoshoot.

Absolutely, yes. I will only share photos with your permission. You have full control on the level of privacy. Read more here.

I suggest booking your photoshoot at least 4 weeks in advance. If you’re interested in an album or prints, book your session at least 6 weeks in advanced.

Yes! Absolutely. While boudoir is one focus, women also hired me for portraits and maternity.

I, Rosa, will be the only person present while we’re photographing.
If your package includes Hair & Makeup, both the female artist and myself will be in the studio. When hair & makeup is done, the artist will leave and it’ll be just you and me in my private studio.

Black & white photos are simply part of my aesthetic. Believe it or not, 90% of the final photos delivered are in color.

I hear that 99% of the time and it’s totally okay to feel this way! You don’t have to show up knowing what to do. That’s why you’re hiring a professional like me. I’ll walk you through everything, and we’ll go at your pace. Most women are surprised by just how comfortable it ends up feeling. TRUST ME.

Packages start at $950 and all included digital photos. The package you select is exactly what you’ll pay. Unlike most boudoir and portrait studios, there is no extra session or sitting fee added.
Add-ons and the ability to upgrade are available if you wish. Pricing is straightforward, clear and fits most budgets.
