FAQ

  • Where is the studio located?

My private studio is located in the quiet city of Benicia, CA. About a 40 minute drive from San Francisco.

  • How far in advance should I book?

Planning a photoshoot takes time. With that in mind, I suggest booking your photoshoot at least 1 month in advance.

Need photos by a certain date? Plan with these turnaround times in mind: Final digital photos take 2 weeks be delivered; albums 4-6 weeks.

  • Can my photos remain private?

Boudoir photos are intimate and showcase you in a vulnerable manner. Because of this, I will only share photos with your permission. You have full control on the level of privacy. So, yes, keeping your photos 100% private is an option.

  • Is wardrobe provided?

No. However, I will share suggestions on what to wear or where to buy pieces of lingerie. You’d be surprised! Most women already own pieces that’ll work for their shoot.

  • Do you only deliver black and white photos?

No. Black & white photos are part of our aesthetic. While I LOVE black & white photos, 85% of the photos delivered are in color.

  • What are your prices?

Collections start at $999. All collections include digital photos. My average client invests $2,200 - $3,000 in their boudoir photoshoot. READ MORE HERE.

  • How much photo retouching can I expect?

I believe in embracing natural beauty and showcasing real women as they are. That said, with an investment like this, I also want you to look and feel your absolute best—while still looking like yourself.

All photos are retouched with a light, natural touch. Blemishes, uneven skin tone, bruises, stray hairs, and minor makeup flaws are removed. Skin is smoothed just enough to maintain a natural look—never overdone or doll-like. Any lingerie or clothing that pinches the skin will be subtly adjusted for a polished finish.

Beyond that, images are lightened and color-corrected to enhance their overall quality. That’s it—no heavy airbrushing, just you at your best.

  • How many people will be in the studio during my boudoir photoshoot?

I, Rosa, will be the only person present while we’re photographing.

If your package includes Hair & Makeup, both the artist and myself will be in the studio. When hair & makeup is done, the artist will leave and it’ll be just you and me in the studio.

  • I love your work, but don't want to do boudoir. Can I hire you for non-boudoir photos instead?

Yes! Absolutely. While boudoir is my main focus, women have hired me for portraits and maternity. Submit an inquiry through my contact form or email me directly at: hello@herbyrosa.com
